Creche & Parents Workspace at Hilldrop Community Centre N7

Give yourself some ‘me time’ at the Hilldrop Community Centre working, studying or learning guilt free, with your little one (age 1-3) playing right next door in the creche.

The workspace is set up as an office space, with desks, comfortable chairs and a there is a kitchen where you can help yourself to a drink. You’ll get some time to yourself, and make some great new professional connections and friendships. Looking to volunteer, start a new venture or make a career change?  Talk to Ann, founder of Bloomsbury Beginnings or Barbara, the Hilldrop Community Centre Manager who are on hand to answer any questions you have and help you make the most of your time at the Workspace.

Your little one will love to play and learn in the creche run by Lily, Lazim and Johanara, Hilldrop Community Centre’s dedicated team. They are fully qualified (level 3 and level 2), DBS-checked, bi-lingual (English and Bengali), experienced early years educators who are passionate about their work with babies and children.

They offer a safe, stimulating, creative session for your 1-3 year old. Our spacious play room and gated garden is the ideal early years setting and each session has a maximum of 8 children.  Please take a look at our handbook to tell you more about how the creche session is run

If you’d like to come early, you can also go along to the toy library which runs from 9.30-11.30 in the small hall at the centre

This is a pilot project, supported by LB Islington to help parents build professional confidence, keep or find employment, and will run for an initial 12 sessions from January – April 2018 (term times only) on Wednesdays from 10am-12.30pm and costs £20 plus booking fee.

If you live in Islington and will be using the sessions to build your professional confidence or to look for employment but would find it difficult to pay the £20 fee, please contact ann@bloomsburybeginnings.org
