Family Lives offer a confidential telephone help line as well as access to LiveOnline, an internet based advice service. The helpline is open 7am – midnight. Call during the night are diverted to Samaritans who are able to offer emotional support. Contact: 0808 800 2222 (free from landlines and most mobiles) or call the same number on Skype for free

Home-start Camden supports families with under 5s through home visits by their team of trained volunteers. Contact: 020 7424 1603

Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub is the first port of call if you are worried about the safety or wellbeing of a child.  They work with any family where there are concerns about abuse, neglect or sexual exploitation.  Contact: 020 7974 3317

Family Nurse Partnership provide a free, voluntary home visiting service for mums and dads under 19, from pregnancy to two.  Contact: 020 7685 6019

Cocoon Family Support provides a safe and supportive environment where families can get together with others who may be feeling similar to themselves. We provide a range of services to aid and support recovery. Employment and Benefits

Employability Service 1a Children Centre on Rosebery Avenue offers free face to face support for all parents, including family support services, advice on employment, child care and benefits. Contact: 020 7974 1872 or

If you’re unhappy with how you have been treated by your employment whilst pregnant or because you are a parent Maternity Action offers advice on your rights at work, maternity pay and benefits, and Pregnant Then Screwed  is a safe place to share your story, receive support or a mentor if you are going through an employment tribunal



Children’s Communication
